1. Who we are

pizzapopolare.is is operated by Popolare RVK ehf., reg. no. 580326-2180, Austurströnd 10, 170 Seltjarnarnes, Iceland (“Pizza Popolare”, “we”, “us”). Our restaurant is at Pósthús Mathöll, Pósthússtræti 5, 101 Reykjavík. Contact: team@popolare.is, +354 670 8888.

2. What this site is for

This website gives information about our restaurant: menu, prices, opening hours, location and news. By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

3. Ordering, payment and delivery

We do not take orders or payments on this website. The “Order” links send you to third party services, currently Dineout (takeaway.dineout.is) and Wolt (wolt.com). Your order, payment, delivery and any refund are handled by those services under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability or operation of those services.

4. Menu, prices and allergens

Menu items and prices are shown in Icelandic króna (ISK) and include VAT. They are indicative and can change without notice. The price charged is the price shown at the restaurant or on the ordering service at the time of your order. Dishes may contain or come into contact with allergens, including gluten, milk, eggs, nuts, fish and shellfish. Allergen information on the site is for guidance only. If you have an allergy, tell our staff before ordering.

5. Opening hours and availability

Opening hours shown on the site are our normal hours. They can change on public holidays, for private events or for reasons outside our control. Items can sell out.

6. Content and intellectual property

All text, photographs, logos, the Pizza Popolare name and other content on this site belong to us or our licensors. You may view and print pages for personal use. You may not copy, publish or use the content commercially without our written permission. Press enquiries: team@popolare.is.

7. Links to other sites

The site links to third party sites such as Dineout, Wolt, Google Maps, Instagram and Facebook. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data.

8. Use of the site

You may not use the site in a way that breaks the law, damages the site or interferes with other people’s use of it, including automated scraping of content for commercial purposes.

9. Liability

The site is provided “as is”. We try to keep it accurate and available but do not guarantee that it is free of errors or interruptions. To the extent permitted by Icelandic law we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or from reliance on information on it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under Icelandic law.

10. Privacy

How we handle personal data and cookies is described in our Privacy and Cookie Policy.

11. Changes

We can update these terms at any time. The date at the top shows the current version. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by Icelandic law. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the District Court of Reykjavík (Héraðsdómur Reykjavíkur). Consumers can also contact the Consumer Agency (Neytendastofa) or use the EU online dispute resolution platform.
